'Animus' is a Latin word that translates as 'soul', 'heart' and 'thought'. For me, it is the perfect name as this blog is dedicated to expressing my thoughts on topics I have passion for.
As you can see from my articles, I like to write about issues across the whole financial markets and global economy spectrum.
I started blogging as blogging is still pretty 'big' and I knew it would be fun to play around with pictures, colours, fonts and designs! And as someone who is opinionated and passionate about economics and finance, blogging is also the easiest way for me to communicate my thoughts to readers across the world.
I'm a (very) recent graduate of a UK university. In my spare time, aside from blogging, I eat out in random places a lot, read, listen to music (especially to Glee) and play racquet sports. This summer I've also taken up some volunteering opportunities, both of which are very different from anything I've done before!
